University of Bielsko-Biala

A brief description of the project

This is another of PROUD's realizations for the Polish public sector. This time we were approached by the University of Bielsko-Biala with a request to arrange the training zone. 

On the available space in the sports hall building near the squash court, we made gym for the university's students. 

Objective

The gym for Academy students with strength and cardio equipment.

The final result

Two separate training areas - strength and cardio - have been created on about 64m2.

Although the gym seems minimalist, there is everything needed for a comprehensive workout.

Appropriately planned space and functional arrangement of machines make it possible for up to 8 people to exercise here simultaneously.

The investor's priority was the strength zone, which occupies more than 90% of the entire area.

It has been entirely lined with non-slip rubber flooring.

It features a full-size PROUD Champion adjustable training gate, as well as two benches: a flat bench and an incline bench for chest training with platforms for the person assisting.

At the disposal of students in the zone are 4 sets of ECO PROUD bumper plates with weights of 5-20 kg, along with 15 and 20 kg Olympic grips, a Hex Bar, a broken griffin and a set of PROUD rubberized dumbbells with a rack.

Also noteworthy is the addition of a PROUD Champion multifunctional bench for leg and abdominal training. Thanks to this device, students have the opportunity to perform exercises such as sissy squats, Bulgarian squats, trunk raises and tummy tucks.

The cardio area features an Air Bike and an electric treadmill.
