A few words about the project

How do you make a hotel gym profitable and not just an empty space that generates costs? For hotel managers, the gym is often the last item on the list of investments. In some cases, such facilities are built only to ensure that the hotel is categorised and awarded an extra star. No attention is paid to the functionality of the area or the quality of the equipment. It simply has to be.

Fortunately, this type of situation is the exception. Recent years have seen a huge increase in interest in healthy lifestyles. More and more fitness clubs and gyms are springing up. In a larger city, everyone can easily find a suitable venue. It is more difficult in smaller towns or on the outskirts of larger cities.

Goal

Our client, Hotel Hygge from Opole, decided to exploit a market niche and create a Wellness&Beauty Zone in their hotel, which is available to both hotel guests and Opole residents. The zone includes saunas and a jacuzzi located on the roof of the hotel, as well as a workout area with a beautiful 70-square-metre terrace for outdoor training on warmer days.

Final result with customer feedback

"We were most concerned about the small space we had to develop. We wanted to create a space for individual workouts for the hotel's guests, with the possibility of holding organised group classes for outsiders. Fortunately, the PROUD company was able to meet our requirements and equip the gym with the equipment we wanted. We are very happy with the design as well as the workmanship. We also really liked the communication and the openness to our expectations" says Mateusz Dereń, Hotel Director.

🔝 Noteworthy is the ELITE TERRAZZO PROUD rubber flooring, which imitates marble by combining high aesthetic qualities with functionality.
