Globus Hall Lublin

A brief description of the project

An interesting project we had the opportunity to implement is a gym in the Globus hall in Lublin. The Luk Lublin volleyball club and the Start Lublin basketball team, playing in one hall, and divided the costs of realization between two teams. Such cooperation allowed to collect more funds and better equip the gym, which benefited both sides.

Objective

Area for group training for volleyball and basketball players of Lublin teams. A gym with the purpose of strength preparation and used to develop athletes performance.

The final result

On 60m2, we arranged simple in equipment training area to engage the entire team in training. 

The largest structure is two multifunctional training cages. Moved away from each other and the wall, they give 4 independent squat stations. Combined with adjustable benches and assistance arms, they create stations for bench press and deadlifts (all elements of powerlifting).

Basketball and volleyball has a lot incommon with power training. Especially in the context of jumping. The gym is equipped with PROUD wooden and foam plyometric boxes.

Free space lined with rubber PRO puzzles is used for warm-ups, rolling, body-weight exercises, practicing explosiveness with Slam Balls and practicing elements of Olympic weightlifting.

The gym's equipment also includes weight-drop mats useful when heavier weights are placed on the barbell.  

Although there is no cardio equipment in the gym, but there is a grass belt and sled, which can be successfully used for both strength shaping and interval training.
